u may be right - came out 10/96 on Dicks#6 and I'm guessing first live was late 82? early 83?

I did'nt realize some of the stuff (He was a Friend of Mine?) is not on anything?

A live version of He Was a friend of Mine from 1966 is included in Rhinos "The Birth of the Dead" CD from the Golden Road boxed set of remastered albums w/bonus material.

And considering the fact that live releases have ceased (they have, right?) it probably never will.

I doubt they've ceased, although they've slowed from the frentic pace of a few years ago. They just released the Cow Palace NYE '76 show.
